Rožmberk castle
The most impressive look at the River Vltava is one taken from Rožmberk Castle. The castle dates from the 13th century and is one of the oldest castles of Vítkovci noble clan - predecessors of the famous Rožmberks. The town of Rožmberk nad Vltavou is rightly called the pearl of the River Vltava. A breath of its historical spirit can be felt literally on every corner.
