The Cross Way Maria Rast
Built in 1898, the stations of the cross leading to Maria Rast am Stein contains 14 stops along the way, each of them fitted with cast-iron pictures and captions in English. Below the site there is also a chapel of the Holy Sepulchre. There are several benches to rest along the route and often, you can get beautiful views of the town of Vyšší Brod. At the end of the route - by the chapel - note the ruins. It is a former pub of Alex Peckl where they served monastery beer.
